Located on the shores of the Long Island Sound, Rye Playland in Rye, NY, has been an area staple since 1927. It is even part of the National Register of Historic Places. Also referred to as just Playland, this unique Art-Deco-style amusement park sits on 280 acres.  It features:

The walled garden is also called the Paradise Garden or char bagh. It is based on the concept that there are four gardens in Paradise, which have been mentioned in many holy books. Similarly, four waterways have been constructed at this garden which merges and meets at a pool in the center.

Though the main theme is Persian, there are also Greek elements such as a temple dedicated to the sky, usage of special marble, and more.

With a great ambiance and friendly employees, its atmosphere and originality makes Slave To the Grind a must-visit.
